Ohrid Time Travel represents an innovative approach to presenting cultural and historical heritage through artistic and technological interpretation of the richness offered by the Ohrid region. Our mission is to offer an entertaining and interactive way of discovering the history, culture and society of the city and its surroundings.
The vision of the project is to create a new and contemporary approach to passing on values to future generations, connecting the rich past with the digital future.
In fact, we are not a museum at all — Ohrid Time Travel uses the latest technologies and global trends to tell the story of the Macedonian Jerusalem in an entirely different way:
For Ohrid, a UNESCO-protected city, this project enables centuries of heritage to be preserved in digital form and presented in a language that appeals to new generations.
Ohrid Time Travel is designed as a dynamic space that meets two key needs.
Unlike typical attractions, we offer an experience that feels like a theme park but educates like a museum.
The city needs more wholesome family experiences. This is a space where local residents can enjoy and learn together.
Ohrid has inspired artists for millennia. Ohrid Time Travel exists to change that, offering a digital canvas for creative expression.
All content will be created in collaboration between local artists and technology specialists, building a strong creative community.
Space is provided for temporary exhibitions and a souvenir shop that gives local craftspeople the opportunity to sell their authentic creations.
Unique solutions created by local talent.
A creative approach and efficient use of resources.
Respect for diverse experiences, beliefs and perspectives.
Every visitor leaves with optimism for the future.
Application of the latest world-class technologies.
Honest, transparent and courageous working practices.
Behind the creation of this story stands a dedicated team working on a perfect blend of art, history and technology.
